The End-Time
Awakening the World to the Coming of the LORD Jesus Christ.

In ancient times, when a king decided to fight another, he would analyse his chances of victory.
When the king stood a good chance, he'd go to war; when the chances were slim, the king had the option to send a delegation to negotiate with the rival king for peace.
They used this approach because when a king lost a fight, he would lose his kingdom and his life. However, when the king surrenders and seeks for peace, he may still remain as king but with the rival king being in charge of the affairs in his kingdom.
Jesus used this to teach us the importance of willing everything we are and have to Him.
When we are surrendered to Him, we get to keep our place in Him. It's a place of peace, true peace, because He's the good king.
Luke 14:31-33 NLT
[31] “Or what king would go to war against another king without first sitting down with his counselors to discuss whether his army of 10,000 could defeat the 20,000 soldiers marching against him?
[32] And if he can’t, he will send a delegation to discuss terms of peace while the enemy is still far away.
[33] So you cannot become my disciple without giving up everything you own.

Revelation3:14-22New International Version (NIV)
To the Church in Laodicea
14 “To the angel of the church in Laodicea write:
These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the ruler of God’s creation.15 I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other!16 So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth.17 You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’
But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked.18 I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire,
so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see.
19 Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent.
20 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.
21 To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat down with my Father on his throne.
22 Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”
