Achievers Ghana

Day 2 of the Project Soar familiarization training for some of our adolescents at the Achievers Ghana Dodowa Learning Center was filled with interactive and practical activities focused on teamwork and presentation skills. Participants worked in groups, shared ideas, and delivered presentations, helping to build their confidence, communication, and leadership abilities.

The session provided an opportunity for the adolescents to better understand the Project SOAR approach while developing essential skills that will prepare them to serve as peer facilitators and positive change-makers in their communities.

We are grateful to the Global Fund for Children for making this opportunity possible for our girls and young people.

Last month, the leadership of Achievers Ghana organized a deepening training program on Community-Led Development (CLD), powered by the Global Fund for Children.

The session brought together staff and young facilitators to strengthen their understanding of CLD principles and how they can be effectively applied in our work with communities.

The training enhanced shared learning, reflection, and practical strategies to further empower girls and community stakeholders in our programs.

Day 3 of the Achievers Ghana STEM Bootcamp in partnership with Indiana University was filled with creativity, innovation, teamwork, and hands-on STEM learning. Participants engaged in coding, robotics, electronics, and problem-solving activities while building confidence and leadership skills.

We are proud of the energy and enthusiasm shown by the girls and young participants as they continue to explore opportunities in STEM.
