Making batik tie and dye fabric is one of the key business skills the women working at Impact Design Lab. produce. But the lack of running water makes it difficult to produce this fabric.

Through the support from VARAS and H2O for Life, the Lab. now has access to consistent running water. The water facility includes the drilling of borehole, mechanisation and a storage tank. With this, the women can now produce batik tie and dye, liquid soap, printing of dresses and for their personal use. The sales of these products will ultimately provide the needed resources for their upkeep.
