Ghanaian artist Chief One has said that while he was a student at Ziope Senior High School, a few professors would give him money to record songs and run errands.

He noted that the reason these instructors were so kind to him and his musical ability was because they genuinely cared about him.

“I have some teachers here, like Mother Gifty, who gave me money to go and run my things. They did that because they love me. Anytime I’m going on stage during my school days, it’s a different vibe. They love me, and the vibe is different. They love to see. They know I’m doing something different.”

Ghanaian hip-hop/hip-life musician Michael Ivan Nyagamagu, also known as Chief One in the entertainment industry, hails from the Volta Region.

The musician will be the next to appear on E Vibes, where he will take viewers on a tour of his ascent to fame.
