Former Accra Hearts of Oak CEO, Nii Ayi Bontey, has passed away.

Widely known in football circles as Tommy Okine, he served as Team Manager when Hearts of Oak won the CAF Champions League in 2000 and later became the club’s CEO. Under his leadership, the Phobians secured the inaugural CAF Confederation Cup title in 2005.

He later became Nii Ayi-Bonte II, the Gbese Mantse of the Ga State, and is remembered for his significant contributions to Ghanaian football and traditional leadership.

Christian Eriksen Collapses During Denmark vs Ukraine Match

A friendly match between Denmark and Ukraine was abandoned after Christian Eriksen collapsed on the pitch.

Denmark's national team later confirmed via Instagram that the midfielder was conscious and receiving medical attention.
