Today, we celebrate Earth Day a global reminder that protecting our planet is a shared responsibility and a call to action for individuals, communities, and organizations alike.
At Center for Opportunities and Rural Development-CORD-GHANA, Earth Day is not just a moment, it is a movement we actively drive through impactful, community-centered interventions.
Through our work, we are:
Promoting sustainable agriculture practices that protect soil health and improve livelihoods
Empowering young people through education and green skills development
Leading tree planting and initiatives to combat
Championing management and recycling efforts to reduce environmental pollution
Supporting vulnerable communities to build resilience against climate change
We believe that real change happens when people are equipped, engaged, and empowered to act. From schools to rural communities, we are nurturing a generation that understands the value of our environment and is ready to protect it.
This Earth Day, we reaffirm our commitment to creating a greener, more sustainable future for Ghana and beyond.
Together, we can restore our Earth. 🌍💚

Time spent with focus on inclusion is time well spent.
Center for Opportunities and Rural Development-CORD-GHANA, in collaboration with the Sagnerigu Society of Persons with Physical Disability and other valued partners, successfully hosted the Social Inclusion Capacity Building Initiative.
Under the theme “Disability Inclusive Climate Adaptation,” the initiative brought together stakeholders to knowledge, share experiences, and promote inclusive approaches to climate resilience.
✨ The engagement created a platform to amplify the voices of persons with disabilities, ensuring their active participation in climate adaptation strategies and decision-making processes.
At CORD Ghana, we remain committed to fostering inclusive, , and resilient communities where no one is left behind.
🤝 We appreciate all partners and participants who contributed to making this initiative impactful.
