Earlier today, the Minister of Finance Dr Cassiel Ato Forson had the honour of receiving the IMF Mission team, led by Dr. Ruben Atoyan, as we formally commence the Fifth Review of Ghana’s IMF-Supported Programme.
He cited that;
We began the year with many challenges, but together we have been able to steady the tide and make significant progress.

While we acknowledge that risks remain, we are committed to doing all we can to address them.

Encouragingly, the indicators point in the right direction, and this mission provides us with an important opportunity to receive valuable feedback on the work we have done so far in serving the people of Ghana.

In his remarks, Dr. Atoyan noted that the team looks forward to the review in the coming days.
