TO ALL FATHERS.

I asked a question if we still lived in a community where the act of proposing to a loved one remained the sole responsibility of the male or things have changed?

If ladies looked up to a man to approach them and say those ultimate words "I LOVE YOU" which may come in different forms, then I should say, it wasn't easy.

The strategy one needed to adopt before the meet up, the drafted likely questions and answers therein, after having an uncontrolled feeling towards that particular lady, the courage gathered and all those showed that, men really meant business.
Had it not been for the intervention of advanced technology, guys used to trek day and night just to visit and communicate with the ladies they loved until their hard work yielded the results they wanted. That was the genesis of the responsibilities as father. Thanks to Mobile phones and all other internet platforms.

As each of us happens to be a member of a family and a community, we are never exempted from certain responsibilities incidental to the upbringing of the younger ones. The braveness alone inherent in men in taking key decisions to benefit not only our biological children but the entire community at large needs not only commendation but recognition also. It is worthy to note that, we've come of age to experience the neglect of the duties as fathers and everything is evidently clear that, men are doing all they can to see their dependants succeed in which ever path they took in life sometimes with the support of their better halves.

As we have a day set out to celebrate all fathers due to their extreme hard work, we asked that God grant all men the needed wisdom, courage, understanding but to mention a few and to continue to bless them to be the heads of their respective families.

Being a father goes beyond fatherhood responsibilities towards your children. Let's take note and have the zeal to extend a helping hand to those that fall outside of our immediate family brackets so that the Good Lord can continue to bless us to have more so we also can give.
