Sacks are made from old clothing or scraps of fabric, and will vary per each one made. Paper pack is 100% recyclable, but we also but it back at ghs cedis each.

Day #2: Unveiling "Thing".. Tell me, what do you need most, and can never live without?

6 years ago, I started my journey. A journey of me, of Ghana, of Future. It all began with my love for crafting and creating; and my love for green spaces; and my dislike for waste and 'waste'. I fell in love with environmental issues, recycling, and innovation of waste. A young mother, with little in my pocket and all the pain of growing up and smelling the coffee, I would jump on buses and go to Krobo Odumase, Aburi, Kumasi, Wa, Lawra, Koforidua ... learning, asking, seeking to know about our environment and our waste efforts.

I found more answers on my own than I was given in any institution. I met more ministers of state and entities on my own than I thought I needed to. Many of them had all the theory and no practicals. And so I decided to create my own expereinces, my own databank; of eco and environmental information, solutions, opportunities. It led me to the creation of an NGO called Energy Solutions Foundation, Ghana, in July 2009. With it, I travelled, advocated, activated (lol), and trained. I invented, and learned, and designed. I found me, and many other young people. I spent time on foreign news networks talking about the issues, and writing for many more. But more importantly, I learned the meaning of real impact. It was not in the popularity, nor the noise, nor awards given, nor people even knowing that you're in existence. Real impact was, and still is about the REAL LIVES IMPROVED by your effort, and their CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT long after you've left them.

The woman I am now, the social issues I fight for now, the dreams I carry for Ghana now, all came from that day 6 years ago. when I decided to take that leap into the dark and pursue right for wrong. Eco, alternative energy, recycling ... have always been my first love. And so today, it is with much pride and joy that I unveil the new face of Energy Solutions Foundation ... the mother company to subsume it all - charity and business ... Recyclon Ghana LLC. Welcome to innovation.
