* 82.6% of women could not access ultrasound services within a 5km radius of their homes
* 96% of CHPS compounds (23 out of 24) lacked portable ultrasound equipment
* 80.2% of women reported that these services were completely unavailable at their local community clinics

🌟 Celebrating Women, Youth, and Community! 🌟
ICDP Ghana, with partners Zonta Club of Accra Metropolitan, Nyɛ Awo Nɔbaatse, and Queen for Youth and Children of the Ga State, marked International Women’s Day 2026 at Freeman Methodist Church, Jamestown, on 12th March, 2026.
Under the theme “Empowering Communities, Transforming Lives”, 130 participants were engaged in:

🌟 Strengthening Foundations: Using Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning to Enhance Social-Emotional Development.
On Wednesday, 15th April 2026, a Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Workshop and Data Collection Exercise 📊 was held at GNAT Hall, Accra–Ghana 🇬🇭, to strengthen Social Emotional Learning (SEL) 🧠 in the foundation stage. The session focused on fair learner selection ✅, assessment tools 📝, and ethical data collection ⚖️, aiming to assess children’s confidence and emotional development 💛. It highlighted the key role of teachers 👩🏽🏫👨🏾🏫 in nurturing well-being and using data to improve learning outcomes 📈.
