In the heat of the moment during campaigns, there’s very little time sometimes to check exposure of shots. You have to rely on your experience and intuition for exposure settings(if you don’t have an electronic viewfinder).

I had one of those days last week. After struggling to figure out how to frame this scene under the circumstances,I was so sure about my exposure settings. Very poorly lit room, but my flash was ready to save the day. I took my shots and happily walked out, only to find out the flash didn’t fire, my shots were poorly exposed. My heart skipped a beat🥹🥹

One of the first things you learn in photography is “Always shoot RAW”. That way, in case an accident like this happens, you can at least retrieve some details. The only reason I successfully got the details back from this under exposed picture was because I shot RAW.

Of all the beautiful scenes captured at La Dadekotopon, this has become my most favorite shot. This work embodies a lot of emotions for me. From the split second concept development till post production,a lot of emotions were involved. When photographers give you a photograph, they give you a part of themselves.

I got the privilege to do a pre-wedding photo shoot few days ago. I almost forgot how thrilling it is to document love stories. Watching two people who have, out of millions of people in the world, chosen each other, is both fascinating and unbelievable. I really can’t wait to document the wedding ceremony itself.
