Star Goals MHC
Diversify in public health & create social impact by empowering individuals & communities.

On 16th April 2026, Star Goals MHC joined the Hon. Member of Parliament for Wa West District Toobu Lanchene Peter, the District Health Directorate, Ga Naa, and the people of Ga to commission a two-unit nurses’ bungalow at the Ga Health Centre.
Notably, this facility stands as a true community self-help initiative; driven by communal labour and strengthened through significant financial and logistics support from the Hon. MP. It reflects what is possible when leadership and community ownership come together to solve local challenges.
Beyond the commissioning, the engagement created space for meaningful interaction with the community. Our team under the leadership of Latif Mumuni Kansanaa delivered a health talk on hypertension and listened to key concerns regarding healthcare delivery challenges at the facility.
In response, Star Goals MHC made immediate contributions to support service delivery including:
1. Donation of medical beds to help address the “no bed syndrome”
2. Provision of essential medical consumables to enhance patient care
3. Our Samanbo Mobile Unit of SG Mobile Health Care is open to providing essential service support such as laboratory services, referral and outreach support to nearby communities within the sub district.
We commend the Hon. MP for his continued support and contributions, and we appreciate the recognition from the District Health Directorate for our sustained efforts in strengthening rural healthcare access.
At Star Goals MHC, we remain committed to building people-centered, accessible, and sustainable health systems across underserved communities.

🩺 Medical Supplies Support | Nabala Community
We successfully delivered essential medical consumables to the Nabala community to support basic healthcare service delivery at the local clinic, supporting CHIPS intervention led by Ghana Health Service.
This intervention was made possible through the generous financial support of Mr. Abudu, a proud son of the Nabala community, whose commitment to the well-being of his people is deeply appreciated by both the community, healthcare authorities and our team.
All supplies were procured and delivered by SG Mobile Health Care through a transparent and accountable process, with due verification and collaboration with relevant health authorities to ensure safety, quality, and proper use.
This support reflects our continued commitment to strengthening community-level healthcare through practical, people-centered interventions; especially in underserved areas.
We are grateful to the Nabala community, local stakeholders, and the District Health Directorate for their cooperation and support throughout this process.
At Star Goals MHC, we believe that access to essential medical supplies is a foundation for quality healthcare.
As we round up the year, we remain firmly committed to advancing our mission of delivering sustainable "Health and Economic Empowerment for All Persons".

Should Doctors Be Forced to Accept Postings?
A Public Health Reflection:
Across Ghana, the conversation about medical doctors declining postings, especially to rural and underserved districts continues to intensify. Northern Ghana in particular is largely affected; yet women and children continue to be the hardest hit.
But at Star Goals MHC, our field experience through the operations of SG Mobile Health Care offers one clear truth:
People do not run away from work.
They run away from neglect.
Instead of enforcing postings through threats, warnings, or sanctions, Ghana must confront the deeper systemic issues that make certain regions less attractive to live and work in.
From our work in communities across Northern Ghana, we see firsthand that:
Some districts lack modern health infrastructure
Basic amenities remain unevenly distributed
Living conditions and safety vary sharply
Healthcare professionals face isolation without proper support systems
In such an environment, forcing professionals is not sustainable.
Building equitable systems is the way to go.
What Ghana Needs Instead of Force is:
To encourage doctors and critical service providers to serve in rural areas, the solution is simple:
1. Invest in deprived districts
2. Upgrade health facilities and equipment
3. Improve housing, transport, and incentives
4. Strengthen public-private partnerships
5. Create a safe, supportive environment for staff
6. Develop systems people are proud to work in
At Star Goals MHC, our commitment remains:
Bridging healthcare gaps.
Strengthening rural health systems.
Supporting government to deliver accessible, people-centered care.
We remain open to collaboration with the Ghana Health Service, District Health Directorates, and development partners to achieve a fairer, stronger, and more resilient health ecosystem for all.
