As the holy month of Ramadan concludes, we extend our warmest wishes to everyone observing Eid al-Fitr around the world. Eid al-Fitr, often known as the "Festival of Breaking the Fast," marks the joyous end of Ramadan, a period of fasting, prayer, reflection, and community.

We asked our colleague, Ayesha, to share her reflections on Ramadan and what Eid means to her:

"For me, Ramadan has been a profound time to slow down and reset. It offers a unique space for reflection, fostering patience, reconnecting with core values, and truly appreciating the small things we often overlook. While the physical challenge of fasting is real, it also brings a valuable sense of clarity and perspective.

Eid al-Fitr itself is a beautiful culmination. It begins with a special morning prayer and is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate completing the month of fasting, express gratitude, and share joy with loved ones. A significant aspect of Eid is also giving to charity, ensuring that the spirit of celebration reaches everyone. It's a powerful reminder to carry forward the values of patience, generosity, and mindfulness throughout the year. I truly appreciate the support and understanding I receive from the office each year; it means a great deal."
