Innovation, industrial manufacturing and technological outreach were at the heart of the visit of a delegation from the Diplomatic Academy of the Hellenic Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the facilities of Prisma Electronics in Alexandroupolis.

The delegation was accompanied by the Director of the Diplomatic Academy, Ambassador Michalis-Christos Diamessis, the Director of the Thrace Office for Political Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Valia Pentarvani, and the Director of Studies of the Academy, Michail Angelopoulos.

During the visit, an overview of the company was presented, highlighting Prisma Electronics’ growth, international footprint and activities across the maritime, space, defence, industrial and digital technology sectors.

The visit also included a tour of the company's industrial and production facilities, offering participants firsthand insight into the development and manufacturing processes behind advanced technological solutions.

The visit provided a valuable opportunity for discussion on the role of Greek technology and industry in the international landscape, while highlighting how innovation developed in the Greek region can evolve into technology with global reach.

Prisma Electronics participated in the business mission to Romania, organized under the initiative of Konstantinos Gkioulekas, further strengthening its presence in international business and networking initiatives.

Prisma Electronics was represented by Dimitra–Marina Giordamli, who held meetings and discussions with institutional and business representatives, aiming to foster new collaborations and promote Greek technology in the fields of maritime, defense, space and advanced electronic systems.

Prisma Electronics was honored on Thursday, May 21, in Alexandroupolis, during the opening day of the 4th ENCOMIUM Alexandroupolis Conference, with the company’s Chairman of the Board, George Giordamlis, receiving the award on behalf of the company.

This was not simply another distinction. It was a moment of strong symbolism for a company that began its journey in Thrace and, without ever losing its connection to its roots, managed to build an international presence across technology, maritime innovation, defense and space.

The award was presented within the framework of the conference titled “Alexandroupolis and Its Region: Issues of History and Culture”, highlighting a dimension of the city that often remains outside the conventional narrative: the dynamic role of local entrepreneurship, knowledge and innovation as an integral part of its modern identity.

For Prisma Electronics, this distinction carries particular emotional significance.
