התערוכה של תומאס שוטה בBernier Eliades הייתה רגע שבו הכל הפך לגדול מהחיים – פסלים מונומנטליים, דמויות מעוותות, משחקי חומר וטקסטורה שמעבירים תחושה של מאבק מתמשך בין נוכחות לחורבן.
שוטה חוקר את הגוף האנושי, הפוליטיקה של המרחב, והרגש שנולד מתוך חומר. יש בפסלים שלו משהו לא נוח, שגורם לך לעצור ולחשוב – וזה בדיוק מה שהופך אותו לאחד האמנים הכי משפיעים בעולם כיום.

🔤 אמנות טיפוגרפיה – כשהמילה הופכת לאובייקט ויזואלי
אחד התחנות המפתיעות בסיור הייתה Parachute Fonts – סטודיו שמתעסק בטיפוגרפיה ברמה הכי גבוהה שיש. זה לא רק מקום שבו יוצרים פונטים, אלא מעבדה לחקר השפה הכתובה כצורה אמנותית.
איך פונטים מעבירים מסרים סמויים? איך צורה של אות יכולה להשפיע על הדרך בה אנחנו מבינים טקסט?
זה היה שיעור מרתק בעיצוב, תקשורת, ואסתטיקה שגרם לנו להסתכל אחרת גם על השלטים ברחוב.
