Dr.S.C.Hirides Surgical Team back in Malta!
First Laser-Doppler Hemorrhoidectomy in Malta was performed two days ago by Asst.Ptof.SC.Hirides and Clinica Joia team at St.James Capua Hospital, Sliema. Our 28 year old patient from Sliema had been suffering from increasingly frequent hemorrhoidal complaints for the last 2 years. She chose one of the most recent minimally invasive techniques to avoid post-operative problems and discomfort. She was discharged the next morning without the slightest discomfort. The team has experience with lasers since 2015 for treatment of hemorrhoids, a**l fissure, fistulas and pilonidal disease.
