ARCHITECTURE AS POETRY

▪️In the untouched landscapes of Iraklia, where ancient olive groves meet the endless Aegean, a forgotten farmhouse has been reborn through the sensitive vision of Athens-based Vois Architects.
The brief was profound in its simplicity: “To disrupt it as little as possible.”

▪️What emerged is a meditation on light, silence, and the essential beauty of Cycladic living. Every material choice honors the island’s vernacular—local stone, whitewashed walls, indigenous plantings—while contemporary interventions create moments of unexpected grace.
“We just had to go through the old wooden gate and reach the terrace to realize that we had found what we wanted: light and silence.”
