Chris Evans had a passion for musical theater since childhood and even participated in acting camps. He played the role of Randolph MacAfee in the musical Bye Bye Birdie. He and his siblings would also perform for their relatives during the Christmas season; he recalls that being on stage felt like "home" to him. Before the start of his senior year of high school, Evans spent the summer in New York City and took classes at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. Evans graduated from Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School in 1999.

Steve Carell was raised in the Catholic tradition and received his education at Nashoba Brooks School, The Fenn School, and Middlesex School. During his high school years, he played ice hockey and lacrosse. He also played the fife (a type of flute) and performed alongside other family members; later, he joined a group that reenacted the "10th Regiment of Foot." Rita Moreno was born as Rosa Dolores Alverío Marcano on December 11, 1931, in a hospital in Humacao, Puerto Rico, to Rosa María (née Marcano) (1912–1999)—a seamstress—and Francisco José "Paco" Alverío—a farmer born in 1908. Her parents divorced the following year. She was nicknamed "Rosita" and was raised nearby in Juncos. Her maternal grandparents were Justino Marcano (born in Puerto Rico) and Trinidad, both from Spain.

Katie Holmes filed for divorce from Tom Cruise in June 2012, nearly six years after their marriage. The primary reason for this separation was Holmes's growing concern that their daughter, Suri, would be raised within the fold of the Church of Scientology; consequently, Holmes devised a highly secretive and sudden exit plan.

Mary Nell Steenburgen was born in Newport, Arkansas, USA. Her mother, Nellie Mae (Wall) Steenburgen, was a school-board secretary, and her father, Maurice H. Steenburgen, was a freight-train conductor. Her surname comes from her distant Dutch ancestors, and her roots also include English, Scottish, and Welsh origins.

Ben Affleck and Whitney Williams co-founded the non-profit organization Eastern Congo Initiative (ECI) in 2010. ECI provides grants to Congolese-led, community-based charitable organizations. Leveraging partnerships with companies such as Theo Chocolate and Starbucks, it provides training and resources to farmers' cooperatives in the Congo. ECI also aims to raise public awareness and drive policy changes in the United States.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has three daughters: Simone, Jasmine, and Tiana. His eldest daughter, Simone Garcia Johnson (also known by her WWE ring name, "Ava"), is the most famous of the three; she recently completed a stellar tenure as the General Manager of WWE's NXT.

Mercedes Ruehl had a son, Christopher, whom she gave up for adoption in 1976, when she was 28 years old. In the late 1990s, when Christopher turned 21, they reunited. In 1999, Ruehl married the painter David Geiser, with whom she adopted a son, Jake (born 1995). Christopher later became Jake's godfather. Ruehl and Geiser put their Hamptons home on the market in 2017; that same year, Ruehl revealed that they no longer lived together, though they remained close. On October 14, 2020, at the age of 73, Geiser died suddenly at home in his sleep due to heart disease.

Melissa Leo is not currently married and does not have a husband. She has never married, although in the late 1980s, she was in a long-term relationship with actor John Heard, with whom she has a son.

Shirley Jones married actor and comedian Marty Ingels. Jones and Ingels co-authored an autobiography based on their relationship, titled Shirley and Marty: An Unlikely Love Story. In Ingels's words, despite the "peculiar" nature of their relationship and a period of separation between them (Shirley filed for divorce in 2002, a petition she later withdrew), they remained married until Ingels's death on October 21, 2015, following a severe stroke.

Chris Pratt played the lead role in Nicholas Stoller's romantic comedy The Five-Year Engagement. The film received mixed reviews; Vulture critic David Edelstein noted that he possessed enough "sweetness to compensate for his character's childish antics." Later, he played minor roles as Brett and Paul in the 2013 films Delivery Man and Her, respectively.
