On the 6th of November 2023, we hosted the SEPAL Project Conference at the European Parliament in Brussels, Belgium, as part of the European Year of Skills 2023. 🇪🇺✨

With the support of MEP Dragoș Pîslaru, Chair of the Committee on Employment and Social Affairs, and his team, the conference focused on "𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐍𝐄𝐄𝐓𝐬 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐎𝐧-𝐓𝐡𝐞-𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠." 💼🌐

🟢Felicitas' message and the SEPAL Project commitment highlight the potential of social enterprises in reshaping the narrative of job inclusion. The Action Plan envisions a future where social enterprises play a crucial role in providing pathways to inclusive employment. This initiative calls upon Social Firms Europe CEFEC and other social economy actors to join forces in solidarity. The collective effort aims to redefine success by creating a landscape where youth, regardless of their background, can experience empowerment and respect through meaningful work.
