The Strategis Maritime ICT Cluster (SMICT) located in Piraeus with a global perspective, includes a network of companies, public and private organizations, research & academic institutions, and other stakeholders from the Greek Shipping Hub that focuses on emerging technologies enabling the Digital Shipping, Smart Ports, and sustainable growth in the Blue Economy.

Σε ημερίδα με θέμα τη μετάβαση του Τύπου στην Ψηφιακή εποχή συμμετείχε ο πρόεδρος του Aratos Group δρ Νίκος Μπογονικολός, ο καθηγητής Επικοινωνίας, ΜΜΕ και Πολιτισμού στο Πάντειο Πανεπιστήμιο Νίκος Λέανδρος και ο καθηγητής Επικοινωνίας και ΜΜΕ στο ΕΚΠΑ Γιώργος Πλειός.
Μεταξύ των θεμάτων που αναπτύχθηκαν ήταν η βιωσιμότητα του τύπου, η επιρροή των μέσων κοινωνικής δικτύωσης, η δυναμική του διαδικτύου, η διασφάλιση της δημοκρατίας και της διαφάνειας στην ψηφιακή εποχή και άλλα ενδιαφέροντα και επίκαιρα θέματα Τεχνολογίας, Τύπου και Ενημέρωσης !
