A big thank you to Makis Grammenos, the curator at the Sinarades Folklore Museum, for supporting us in the filming of Castle Kitchen. This museum gives a great insight into life on Corfu in the 18th Century. If you have the chance, visit the beautiful village of Sinarades and its museum.

Watching Thomas Haas make cheese like the Ancient Greeks was a fantastic experience and it’s not as complicated as you may think. It’s also surprisingly very tasty! Of course, how he made it is included in our TV Series; a journey in to the origins of gastronomy (coming soon!).

Thomas Haas and Adrian Marvell following the footsteps of Ancient Greeks… hare on a homemade wooden spit. Described in Homer the Iliad it is a direct connection to our ancestors.
