Bioengineering Lessons Aim to Inspire Girls to Become Surgeons, Engineers The Perry Initiative, a nonprofit founded in 2009 by Lisa Lattanza and Jenni Buckley, aims to tackle gender imbalance in engineering and orthopaedics by providing bioengineering workshops for high school students.
