Before heading to the FIRST World Championship, and following our recent success at the FTC Greece Championship, where we proudly received the 3rd Place Inspire Award, we had the incredible opportunity to present our work to the Mayor of Piraeus, Mr. Yiannis Moralis, the Deputy Mayor, Mr. Karidis and the Deputy Governor, Ms. Antonakou.

We invited them to test-drive our robot, shared insights into our design process, the engineering principles we followed, and our vision to host an international robotics bootcamp right here in Piraeus. Their enthusiasm and support were truly encouraging.

A heartfelt thank you to the Mayor and Deputy Mayor for standing behind our mission to promote STEAM education and for inspiring the next generation of young innovators in Greece. 🇬🇷🤖💙

Λίγο πριν αναχωρήσουμε για το FIRST World Championship, και μετά τη σημαντική μας διάκριση στο Πανελλήνιο Πρωτάθλημα FTC, όπου λάβαμε το 3ο Βραβείο Inspire, είχαμε την τιμή να παρουσιάσουμε τη δουλειά μας στον Δήμαρχο Πειραιά, κ. Μώραλη, τον Αντιδήμαρχο, κ. Καρύδη, και την Αντιπεριφερειάρχη, κα. Αντωνάκου.

Τους προσκαλέσαμε να δοκιμάσουν το ρομπότ μας, συζητήσαμε για τη σχεδιαστική διαδικασία, τα μηχανολογικά πρότυπα που ακολουθήσαμε, και τους παρουσιάσαμε το όραμά μας για τη διοργάνωση ενός διεθνούς bootcamp ρομποτικής στον Πειραιά. Η στήριξή τους μάς έδωσε ακόμη περισσότερη ώθηση!

Ένα μεγάλο ευχαριστώ στον Δήμαρχο και τον Αντιδήμαρχο για τη στήριξή τους στην προσπάθειά μας να προάγουμε την εκπαίδευση STEAM και να εμπνεύσουμε τη νέα γενιά στον Πειραιά και σε όλη την Ελλάδα. 🇬🇷🤖💙

CONGRATULATIONS to our head of Creative,Thalis Katsimichas, a dedicated and passionate robotics student, has been nominated as an FTC Dean’s List Finalist for his outstanding contributions to the FIRST community.

With three years of experience in FLL and two years in FTC, Thalis who has demonstrated exceptional leadership, innovation, and teamwork. His commitment to problem-solving and mentorship has made a lasting impact on his team and the broader STEM community, solidifying his place as a role model for aspiring young engineers.

This is Thalis’ second year in the First Tech Challenge, and we are truly proud to have him in our team. Not only does he demonstrate gracious professionalism in his interactions with individuals from the STEM community and outside of it, but he has also been a source of support for the entire team this FTC season. We couldn’t be more grateful to have him as a teammate!
