🍷 Ever heard of Athiri?
It’s one of Rhodes’ star white grapes—fresh, crisp, and made for sunny island days. 🍇You’ll often find it blended with other local varieties, creating easy-drinking wines that feel as laid-back as island life itself.
Think citrusy, light, and made for long lunches that effortlessly roll into sunset. ☀️
Try a glass during your stay at Casa Del Sol and tell us—are you team Athiri? ✨

Meet Our Garden 🪴

Many visitors tell us that one of their favorite moments is enjoying breakfast surrounded by birdsong, trees, and blooming flowers.

Nature sets the pace here—and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
Each month, we’re introducing a special bloom from our garden here in Rhodes.

This month belongs to the elegant Nerine, also known as the Guernsey Lily. Its delicate pink flowers sway gently in the Mediterranean breeze, adding a touch of color and romance to our peaceful courtyard.

Tell us in the comments: Which flowers remind you most of summer holidays in Greece?

✨ Save this post for inspiration for your next Rhodes getaway.

Best Sunset in Rhodes 🌅 — agree or do you have a better spot? 👀

Just a 20-minute walk from Casa del Sol, Monte Smith (Rhodes Acropolis) is where history meets the sea 🤍

A peaceful escape above the city — perfect for a sunrise run, a sunset stroll, or a quiet moment with a view.
Golden hour hits different up here 🌅

✨ TIP: Cross the street across the temple ruins for the most majestic west-side sea view
✨ TIP #2: There’s a small café at the entrance of the archaeological site, but nothing beyond — bring water and anything else you might need.

How to spend the Perfect Day in Lindos ☀️
🏰
We are sure Lindos is on your plans but do you want to know our favorite way to experience it? Go early for peaceful whitewashed streets and quiet photo spots, or arrive after 17:00 for an evening stroll and a rooftop dinner under the Acropolis🍷
Photo tip: If you want to capture the whole village with the castle, stop at the road bend just after Amphitheatre club-you’ll thank us later 😉
For beach lovers, the main beach is perfect for soft sand, shallow crystal waters, laid-back tavernas and beach cafés. If you’re after iconic views, St Paul’s Bay is pure postcard material — beautiful, vibrant, and... instagrammable!

Getting there is easy (about 40km from Casa del Sol):
• Parking below the village near the main beach (free but busy)
• Paid parking above St Paul’s Bay with buggy service into Lindos
• Or park along the main road and hop on the local bus — only a 3-minute ride, running every 10 minutes 🚌

Save this for your Lindos day trip and let the island vibe slow you down 🤍
Stay soulful with Casa del Sol Rhodes tips.
