We call on all those who are active or visiting the Medieval city, to freelancers, private, public and municipal employees, as well as to the travel agencies that organize tourist visits, to the residents of Rhodes, but also to its individual visitors, to support in PRACTICE the effort for a better Medieval city! To park their vehicles in the port of Akandia and to travel for FREE with a bus that has been provided, as well as to make use of the electric locomotives that have been launched within the Medieval city.
The bus serves daily from :Monday to Sunday from 9 am to 12 midnight every fifteen (15) minutes. The route is: Akandia Port, Trench, Sea Gate, Symi Square and vice versa.
The electrics serve from : 9 in the morning until 12 at midnight every twenty (20) minutes.
The routes are:
Route (1): Starting at the Gate of Symi and through the Museum Square following Knight Street and Orpheus Street exiting the Gate of D'Abouage.
Route (2): Starting from the Gate of Ag. Athanasiou and following the streets of Homer, Ippodamou and Orpheus with exit from the Gate of D'Amboise.
Route (3): Starting from the Gate of Ag. Athanasiou and following the streets of Homer, Ag. Fanouriou, Socratous, Pythagoras again from Omirou Street with exit from the Gate of Ag. Athanasios.
Route (4): Starting at the Gate of Akantia and following the streets of Arch. Efthymiou passing through the Squares of Nikolaou, Nafsikas and in the direction from Pythagoras Street to Homer Street with exit to the Gate of Ag. Athanasios and
Route (5): Starting from Akantia Gate and following Kistiniou streets, passing by Pl. St. Panteleimon, Pl. Εβ. Martyrs, Aristotelous Street, Pl. Hippocrates, Ermou Street, Pl. Museum with exit to Pl. Symis.
