I see the Schoonord Highway team has to work 24 hours a day to meet schedule. Box culverts take time to form, place steel, pour concrete and cure....two months at least. Guyana is ready to make preformed modular culverts that can be installed and ready for backfill in 3 days. The Ministry of Public Works is urged to embrace Diaspora Engineers who can lead the implementation of such construction techniques to achieve aggressive schedules. This will help to transform the Engineering and Construction Industry for the modern Guyana.
