Last Sunday, the GYSBI team braved the inclement weather to proudly participate in the Ministry of Labour and Manpower Planning’s Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Walk, walking away with 3rd place for Best Banner.

The walk formed part of the Ministry’s activities in observance of Occupational Safety and Health Month, which was commemorated throughout April. This year’s theme, “Good psychosocial working environments: A pathway to thriving workers and strong organisations,” underscores the critical link between employee well-being and organisational success.

Happening Now: Guyana Shore Base Inc. (GYSBI) is currently participating in the Ministry of Labour’s Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Village, underway on Main Street, Georgetown.

The two-day event, which commenced yesterday and concludes today, forms part of the Ministry’s OSH Month activities and aims to raise awareness of workplace health and safety. It also provides a valuable platform for employers to engage directly with job seekers.
