Ethnic Relations Commission

Commissioners of the Ethnic Relations Commission attended a seminar commemorating the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and Guyana’s 60th Independence Anniversary, co-hosted by the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Guyana, the Guyana Peace Council, and the Cheddi Jagan Research Centre.

The seminar provided an opportunity to reflect on the longstanding friendship between Guyana and China, exchange perspectives on governance and development, and reaffirm the importance of international cooperation, mutual understanding, and shared progress.
