At Ton Ciel, we specialize in the art of transforming spaces into unique and enchanting experiences.
A supernova is an extremely violent end of life for very massive stars. As you probably know, when this explosion occurs, the star blows up and the material is ejected into space at incredible speeds.
But how fast is this material travelling? Well, roughly 25000 km/s (~16000 miles/s). This means that if the Sun exploded as a supernova, it would take around 1.7 hours to hit the Earth.
I try to make things easier to imagine. Did this post do its job? Consider sharing and following 🫶
