Last week, Anastasia Angelova impressed the audience with her insightful presentation on DAO governance challenges.

She addressed some of the major challenges with "1 Token - 1 Vote" model, and provided valuable insights into the future of decentralized decision-making. 🗳✨

Anastasia delved into the limitations of token-weighted voting, addressing issues such as plutocracy and voter apathy. She highlighted innovative solutions to these challenges, including fairer token distribution and time-lock weighted voting.

Furthermore, Anastasia Angelova introduced the concept of Credential-Augmented Voting (CAV), which combines token holdings with verifiable credentials. This approach offers the potential to mitigate the influence of whale domination and encourage active participation and expertise within DAOs. 🚀🔐

Credential-Augmented Voting (CAV) could potentially be accomplished using existing DAO tooling such as Praise, Disco.xyz, Coordinape, Snapshot Labs and Govrn, each offering unique capabilities to track, evaluate, and reward contributions within DAOs.
