🎪 𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗡 𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗟: 𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗜𝗦𝗧 𝗜𝗡 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳🎪

Cirkus Kolektiv is launching an open call for authors, artists, and contemporary circus collectives developing new artistic projects and performances during 2027.

Artist in Residence is a residency programme offering space, time, and support to research, experiment, develop existing projects, or initiate new creative processes in Split, Croatia.

Alongside workspace and technical support, the residency provides opportunities to connect with local audiences through a work-in-progress presentation and post-show discussion, as well as to share knowledge through workshops and other educational activities.

• Workspace and technical support
• Work-in-progress presentation
• Audience discussion
• Media visibility and promotion
• Documentation of the creative process and performance material
• Financial support of up to €1000 for travel, accommodation, and production costs

👥 𝗪𝗛𝗢 𝗖𝗔𝗡 𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗟𝗬?
Artists and collectives from Europe working in contemporary circus who are developing new performances, artistic projects, works in progress, research-based processes, or interdisciplinary collaborations.

Applications are welcome from projects at every stage of development, from early artistic research and initial concepts to advanced production phases. We especially encourage projects that include workshops, masterclasses, or other knowledge-sharing activities for amateur and professional contemporary circus practitioners.
