ARTScience MedILS

The ARTScience program in Mediterranean Institute for Life Sciences has been more than fruitful. We have defined our role and space within MedILS and are proud to say we are a fully integrated platform that co-workers have easily understood, accepted and even embraced. As a young platform, we have successfully organised various cultural events and mediated several round tables which have all contributed to our vision: bringing art and science closer together as a means to creating an interdisciplinary atmosphere where both sides can educate and inspire each other, as well as exchange transferable skills and knowledge. A prime mission and goal of ARTScience program is to engage artists and scientists in creating together original effective communication of MedILS’ science to the public.
