✨Repost✨ Haitian diaspora we are like the Haitian Maroons who escaped bo***ge, they fled the plantation only to return back to help their brothers and sisters break the chains of captivity. Maroons were critical players in the Haitian Revolution because they brought back resources and knowledge they gained when they were away in order to help their brothers and sister grab freedom themselves. I firmly believe, we have a similar role today with Haiti. We have knowledge and resources that can be used to help our brothers and sisters as they fight for their own freedom.
