Manno Farinen Goes Solo!

Miami, January 1st, 2022.- Manno Farinen started his career as the frontman of Fresh-Up, a Pétion-ville based band, known for its debut single ‘’BBM’’ released in 2011 that won so many hearts through the years. In 2015, in the midst of persistent political turmoil, he packed his bag and boarded a one-way US-bound flight to set his new hometown in Philadelphia, PA.

A couple of years later, he teamed up with talented musicians to launch LINKÒP (2017) followed by NYCE (2018), two Compas bands that, unfortunately, gone up in smoke too early but left their mark in the industry.

Although short-lived, both bands still remain among the widely acclaimed young bands in the market for the past 10 years.

After a nine-month hiatus, Manno Farinen has crafted out a space for himself and decided to give new impetus to his career by turning exclusively solo. That said, as of today, the singer will be performing under his own name alongside a live band and, for some occasions, with just a DJ.

_‘’I learned a lot from my past experiences as a high-profile frontman in different Compas bands. More recently, solo artists were facing many barriers and challenges to make a name for themselves in the Compas market. Thanks to social networks, a key driving force to easily reach out to a wider audience, things are getting a little bit easier today for them to build up their own fan-base and become successful. I will focus on that, among other strategies, as I’m embarking on this new journey in my career.’’_, says Manno Farinen.

Now based in Miami, the singer is cooking up an EP that is set for release sometime during the first quarter of 2022.

Démenti de K-NIWAY à propos d’un retour imminent de Kenny Desmangles chez Zenglen

Port-au-Prince, le 7 novembre 2021.- L’équipe de Management de K-NIWAY tient à apporter un démenti formel sur les rumeurs fantaisistes et totalement infondées qui circulent depuis quelques jours sur les Réseaux sociaux et dans des groupes WhatsApp selon lesquelles Kenny Desmangles, chanteur du groupe, serait sur le point de signer son grand retour chez ZENGLEN.

En effet, aucun contact formel ou informel n’est établi entre Kenny Desmangles et l’équipe de Management de ZENGLEN à cette fin. L’artiste continue, toutefois, d’entretenir des liens amicaux et de très bons rapports professionnels avec quelques membres de ce groupe phare du Compas Direct dont il était membre dans un passé relativement récent.

Ceci dit, Kenny Desmangles reste et demeure le band leader de son groupe et travaille ardemment en studio avec les musiciens pour la sortie prochaine de nouvelles productions musicales qui, comme à l'accoutumée, feront les délices de ses nombreux fans et des mélomanes avertis.
