For Hungarians, Mikulás is more than just a bearded figure; he embodies the festive spirit at the end of the year. Children eagerly anticipate December 6th when Mikulás leaves gifts in their shoes during the night. 🎁🌙

Traditional customs include the giving of gifts by Mikulás into shoes and the presence of the "Krampus," his mischievous companion who punishes those who misbehaved. The streets resonate with Miulás songs, and festive markets in the main squares are part of this magical celebration. 🎶🎡

In Budapest, the holiday atmosphere is unique; lights and scents fill the streets. The festive markets offer the aroma of mulled wine and delicious treats, while the beautiful decorations captivate the entire city. 🍷🌟
