🔭 This Month is dedicated to citizen science, and we are celebrating bridging academia to community!

Citizen science means opening the doors of the scientific process to everyone - not just professionals in labs. Volunteers contribute to data collection, analysis, problem definition, and even shaping the solutions themselves.

The result ❓ Science that is faster, more grounded in reality, and trusted by the communities it serves.

Because here's what researchers and policymakers often overlook: people closest to a problem have a lot more information than any expert, and often see the simplest, most effective path to solving it as well.

🔎 This is exactly the vision behind ENTER - our Erasmus+ project building bridges between universities and local communities in India and Malaysia to access local environmental data. Through citizen science pilots and living labs ENTER is proving that when academia and society co-create, better decisions follow.

🙌 Science has always belonged to humanity. It's time we, as citizens, keep in mind that we are just as important to science as science is important to us.

On April 21, the world celebrates World Creativity and Innovation Day - a global UN day dedicated to raising awareness about the power of creativity and innovation in solving the challenges that matter most.

🚀 Something big is launching in European sports and health innovation, and we're proud to be part of it. We're excited to share that the SHIA (Sports and Health Innovation Accelerator) project has officially kicked off!

Bringing together 12 partners from 11 countries, SHIA is a 36-month initiative built around one powerful idea: sports and health innovation shouldn't live in silos.

👉Bridging the gap between education, research, and industry by developing a validated innovation acceleration programme at the intersection of the health and sports sectors.
