One of the most popular ways to see Budapest is from a river cruise, but during the Budapest SUP Festival, the Danube had a very different kind of sightseeing tour.

We visited Mama Goulash, a place that became popular for simple Hungarian comfort food without overcomplicating things. Besides the Gulyás, they also serve dishes like chicken paprikash, lecsó, schnitzel and potato paprikash.

We tried the Gulyás and potato paprikash, and the best way to describe the place is with a Hungarian saying:
