MOME Innovation Center

[ INCUBATION ] In September 2024, the MOME Art and Design Incubation Programme was launched, aiming to create a solid foundation for the start-up and market positioning of fresh graduates in research, art, design or entrepreneurship careers by incubating the most innovative art, research projects, product and service ideas, with a focus on long-term value creation.

Participants this year included Luca Ábrányi, Animation MA graduate, Réka Bakonyi, Graphic Design MA graduate, Nóra Gulya, Fashion and Textile Design MA graduate, Hajnal Gyeviki, Ceramic Design MA graduate, Dóra Tarcsi, Design MA graduate, and Violetta Vigh, Media Design MA graduate.

[ INKUBÁCIÓ ] 2024 szeptemberben elindult a MOME Művészeti és Design inkubációs program, melynek célja, hogy a leginnovatívabb művészeti, kutatási projektek, illetve termék-és szolgáltatás ötletek inkubálásával, a hosszútávú értékteremtést szem előtt tartva​, szilárd alapokat teremtsen a frissen végzett hallgatók kutatói, művészeti, tervezői vagy vállalkozói karrierjének elindításában, piacon való elhelyezkedésében.

Az idei résztvevők között volt Ábrányi Luca, Animáció MA alumna, Bakonyi Réka, Tervezőgrafika MA alumna, Gulya Nóra, Divat- és textiltervezés MA alumna, Gyeviki Hajnal, Kerámiatervezés MA alumna, Tarcsi Dóra, Formatervező művész MA alumna és Vigh Violetta, Média design MA alumna.

[ GRANT SUCCESS ] The Zenctuary VR+ project, led by the our Immersion and Interaction Hub, with researchers Ágnes Karolina Bakk and Borbála Tölgyesi, has secured nearly 1 million euros in funding through the HU-rizont grant programme of the National Research, Development, and Innovation Office (NRDIO). This interactive VR application is designed to provide a therapeutic natural environment serving both diagnostic and rehabilitative purposes.

In the next phase, the team will be joined by art researcher Samuel Chovanec, and the project will involve collaboration between our researchers and several partners, including code and soda, Strasbourg University Hospital, the University of York, the Semmelweis University Geriatrics Clinic (Semmelweis Egyetem), and the Jewish Charity Hospital. The ultimate goal of Zenctuary VR+ is to improve patient care and the quality of life for the elderly, promote relaxation and recovery, and reduce the workload of healthcare professionals. .
[ PÁLYÁZATI SIKER ] Közel 1 millió eurós támogatást nyert a Zenctuary VR+ projekt, Immerzió és Interakció Hubunk Bakk Ágnes Karolina és Tölgyesi Borbála által vezetett kutatása a Nemzeti Kutatási, Fejlesztési és Innovációs Hivatal (NKFIH) HU-rizont pályázatán. Az interaktív VR-alkalmazás egy terápiás céllal fejlesztett természeti környezet és diagnosztikai, illetve rehabilitációs eszköz.

A jövőben a csapat Samuel Chovanec művészeti kutatóval bővül, valamint a projektben a kutatóink a code and sodaval, a Strasbourgi Egyetemi Kórházzal, a York Egyetemmel, a Semmelweis Egyetem Geriátriai Klinikájával és a Mazsihisz Szeretetkórházzal működnek majd együtt, a cél pedig az, hogy a Zenctuary VR+ javítsa a betegek ellátását, az idősek életminőségét, elősegítse a pihenést, regenerálódást, és csökkentse az egészségügyi dolgozók terhelését.
