The A-side, “The Message”, is a groovy yet melancholic journey—driven by warm low-end, lush pads, and an emotional statement that resonates beyond the club walls. French producer and Treatment head honcho Casual Treatment, known for his versatile and well-crafted productions on labels like Hayes, Token, and Mord, reshapes the track into a shadowy, immersive techno voyage, pulling dancers into darker, deeper territory.
On the flip, “Haunted” delves into murkier soundscapes—an eerie, slow-burning, almost cinematic piece drenched in dread and introspection. Another rising French producer, Mathys Lenne—celebrated for his atmospheric textures and elegant productions on Mord, Hayes, and Float— amplifies the track’s ghostly energy to new, spine-chilling heights.
