Phantasma by Kaylie Smith
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I read this book last year, and I still can’t stop thinking about it.

Dark, gothic, romantic vibes. Haunted mansion, deadly trials, ghosts, and temptation everywhere. This book completely consumed me from start to finish, and it quickly became one of my all-time favorites.

Ophelia is such a compelling protagonist. She carries so much on her shoulders, yet she remains strong, sarcastic, and unapologetically herself. I loved her humor and how she always stood up for herself, even when everything was against her.

And Blackwell… he owns my heart.
Flirty, arrogant, charming, infuriating. Perfect.

The banter between them is everything. Sharp, addictive, and filled with tension. Their chemistry? Absolutely undeniable. I loved them both individually, but together they were on another level.

The setting is dark, decadent, and haunting. A shifting mansion full of danger, where every trial feels more brutal than the last. The deadly trials element is done so well, constantly raising the stakes and keeping you on edge.

And that final plot twist? I loved it.

If you’re into:
🕯️ dark fantasy romance
🕯️ forbidden romance
🕯️ deadly trials
🕯️ gothic haunted mansion
🕯️ phantom x necromancer
🕯️ who did this to you

you need to read this.
