Shame is not humility.
It’s agreement with the accuser.

And today, you break that agreement.

Place your hand over your heart and let’s pray.

God,
I renounce every lie that tells me my past has more authority than Your Word.
I refuse to carry shame for what You have already redeemed.

I repent for rehearsing my failures instead of rehearsing Your promises.
I take my identity back from every moment that tried to define me.

I declare that my history is not my ceiling — it is proof of Your mercy.
Where the enemy meant to cripple me, You built endurance.
Where I was broken, You formed discernment.

I receive freedom from false guilt.
I receive clarity where shame once clouded my calling.
I receive boldness to move forward without explaining myself to my past.

I release every false identity I accepted in moments of weakness.
I refuse to rehearse what You have already redeemed.
I receive Your truth as my final authority — not my past.
I step forward unburdened, unashamed, and fully aligned with You.

I choose obedience over self-punishment.

I choose truth over accusation.
I choose to walk as someone You trust.
