Sanur Coffee Shop

Ivan and his girlfriend come to us telling about storage space in their house that store the girlfriend's father painting. This storage space used to be the father's painting workshop and also a space for him and his friends to gather. Because of some conditions, now the father is not as active as he was before in painting and now the workshop space becomes just a storage space.

Ivan and his girlfriend want to repurpose this storage space to a small coffee shop because the storage space located outside the house and has a direct access to parking area. With Ivan's background as a barista, they want to utilize this combine with the space to make a coffee shop business from their house.

They (Ivan and his girlfriend) wanted the space with spacious feeling and welcoming for their customer. They also wanted to be as close as possible with the customer that will come to the coffee shop. With the storage space being so small, it will be challenging to create a spacious space. But in the other hand, it also good for the space being small so everything feels closer.

Jamal and his family own a city hotel in Denpasar that has been running for several years. This hotel is a 4-storey hotel with a rooftop that he wanted to utilized into a chillin' space for the guest, inside and outside of his hotel. Because of his middle east heritage (Arab), he decided to make a sh**ha bar and lounge.

He wanted Ho**ah (the name of the sh**ha bar and lounge) to have this middle-east vibe combine with modern style. He also wanted the space to feel open and spacious for the guest. And his last request is to make the new structure as light as possible so he don't have to make another structure adjustment in the existing hotel building.
