Aling Aling isn’t just one waterfall — it’s four unique ones hidden deep in Bali’s northern jungle 🌿💧

Each fall has its own character:

🌀 Aling Aling Waterfall – The tallest at 35 meters, with a powerful, sacred flow. You can’t swim directly under it out of respect, but just standing nearby is awe-inspiring.

🌊 Kroya Waterfall – A smaller 5-meter fall that’s popular for sliding and cliff jumping. We skipped the slide this time but loved watching others take the plunge!

💦 Kembar Waterfall – Known as the “Twin Waterfalls,” with two streams falling side by side into a serene pool. Super photogenic and peaceful.

🌿 Pucuk Waterfall – The tallest jump spot at around 15 meters — definitely for the brave ones! (Not us… this time 😅)

We didn’t jump or slide — just explored, breathed in the jungle air, and soaked up the raw beauty.
This place is a perfect mix of adrenaline and peace — highly recommend if you’re heading to northern Bali.

Mount Batur Facts

⛰️ Located in northeastern Bali, inside a massive ancient caldera formed by a supervolcanic eruption about 29,000 years ago.

🌋 Mount Batur is an active volcano, with the last eruption happening in 2000 — it still steams today!

☀️ The sunrise trek is around 2 hours and starts in the early morning — one of Bali’s most popular hikes.

🌕 You can also do full moon hikes or sunset tours, with epic views over Lake Batur and Mount Agung.

⚫ The landscape is wild — black lava fields, lush jungle, and panoramic crater views.

⛩️ Considered sacred by locals. Many Balinese people perform ceremonies and offerings here.

💦 Nearby is Toya Bungkah hot springs, perfect for a post-hike soak with volcano views.

🚴‍♀️ You can even explore parts of the area by motorbike, through lava fields and scenic mountain roads!
