Built a century and a half ago, Pancasila Building is a historic edifice that until today is still very much in service. In the decades before Indonesia became independent, it served as the site of the parliament of that time (Volksraad). Nowadays the building has served as an educational centre for diplomats and as the setting for important diplomatic activities.

This coffee table book features illustrations of the building’s architecture, the events that took place within it and the pictures and the paintings on display in its premises through the years.

We are very grateful to be part of the project preserving one of our nation’s heritage in a book.
