📷 - When I first came to Gili Trawangan in Feburary I didnt think that I`ll come back over and over again. Because lets be honest, there is not much to do.⠀⠀⠀

But as it always happens, you meet people and opportunities come up, so my recent stay wasn't my last one for sure 🤗⠀⠀⠀

⏳⌛️Thank you Gili for igniting the wanderlust in me to go explore and find inspiration in the world under the sea! If i had to make a candid confession i have no qualms in admitting that i had major hydrophobia and did not know swimming well until recently. Last year i pushed myself, shed all inhibitions and learned swimming as an adult! And honestly it wasn’t til I went to Gili that i found it so rewarding - when i managed to jump off a boat in the middle of a sea, engulfed by colourful fishes and swam with playful sea turtles! It’s a beautiful world out there! Its never too late to learn something - specially when the end-results are this rewarding 💞 ⠀
Feeling so grateful and a li’l proud of myself to finally conquer a fear and discover a li’l marine paradise!⠀⠀⠀
Can’t wait to go to the next diving site!⠀⠀⠀

Diese Statuen sind echt beeindruckend.
Es ist ein Kunstwerk vor Gili Meno 🐠 Die insgesamt 48 Skulpturen in verschiedenen Anordnungen tragen den Namen NEST und wurden vom renommierten Künstler Jason deCaires Taylor entworfen.

Gili Meno war eins unserer Highlights in Indonesien 🇮🇩 Eine so schöne relaxede und naturbelassene Insel 🏝 ☀️
Hier schnorchelten wir was das Zeug hielt 🌊 Die Gilis sind ein Hotspot für Schildkröten 🐢 Wir sahen mindestens 9 riesige Schildkröten 💚 Mit einer sind wir sogar mehrere Minuten geschwommen 🏊
Abends schlürften wir dann noch den ein oder anderen Cocktail 🍹 und genießten den Sonnenuntergang 🌇
