Tagline can be a brand’s best friend if used correctly. A good tagline has exceeded more than just a phrase but it has been implanted in people’s heads as another reference to their brand. It is common for us to associate the phrase “Just Do It” with Nike even though “Just Do It” doesn’t exactly tell us what Nike’s product is.

A tagline doesn’t need to be specific or broad either, it could be used to represent what a brand’s product/service is, or how a brand wants their customer to feel when associated with their product/service and many more. Most importantly a tagline needs to be somewhat consistent to achieve its full potential.

Whether it is printed or not, a good poster is never a bad choice. Poster allows brands to convert their message to visually pleasing representation. The Flexibility of a good poster allows brands to add as many or as little words to the end result. There are many ways of making a visually pleasing poster, like digital imaging, illustration, and so many more.

A good poster needs to have a purpose for its existence. The easiest way is to first decide which part of the marketing funnel before converting it into text content then to visual representation. For this example, we are using Campina's Go!Mango Ice Cream. This poster is considered an upper end of the marketing funnel that serves a purpose of branding the brand’s name and the phrase “Bring Happiness”.

The importance of first impressions has not been talked about enough. Campina uses the phrase “Bring Happiness” to welcome its customers to their website.

Shortly after the phrase, we get this message: “We are one of the leading ice cream manufacturers in Indonesia, with an extended line of products that always win our customer’s hearts.” with the follow-up of more description of the company. It is safe to say the phrase “Brings Happiness” is a way for Campina to say this is what our brand is trying to achieve, to bring happiness.
