Bali Children's Project
The Bali Children's Project is a non-profit devoted to providing educational resources to rural Balinese children through individual donations.
Bali Children's Project spent a year working with a community to turn around their waste issues. Previously, there was no waste collection and no help. Combined with education sessions and promotion of community ownership, this village transformed it's waste problem.
The program was made possible thanks to Timothy Sykes John Nielsen, Acacia.co and Circle Club Asia.

Welcome to the Bali Children's Project Kindergarten Ogoh-ogoh parade in Bali!
The students from our very own kindergarten put on quite the show with their early Ogoh Ogoh parade.
Before Bali's day of silence, communities parade Ogoh Ogoh (monsters and demons!) which represent evil and undesirable traits.
These Ogoh Ogoh are paraded and do battle, with the Ogoh Ogoh unltimately losing and being destroyed after, representing the victory of good over evil - helping to wash away negative traits and act as a purification.
We were so proud of the students at our school, and the village of Penestanan Kaja who came out in force to see their parade.
