Canggu friends,
This evening I’ll be leading a mindfulness session at Samadi Bali.
7pm-8:15pm

Ever since my Indian ashram days 20 years ago, mindfulness has been an anchor for me in challenging times and in joyful times.
The simple but profound invitation to be present with what we experience moment -by-moment leads to a richer life and better relationships.

Tonight we’ll explore how.

“The Gentle Power of Mindfulness”
Samadi Bali (Canggu)
7-8:15pm

“The gentlest thing in the world overcomes the hardest thing in the world.”
Tao Te Ching

Mindfulness is intrinsically a “yin” approach. The practice awakens our receptivity and openness to experience. Essentially it asks us to bring love, unconditional awareness, to the conditions in which we find ourselves. This possibility to accept even what we normally are repelled by, like discomfort or fear, provides us with a great strength to face ourselves and our predicament.
Even when are tempted to reject ourselves or another person, we can shine a light of curiosity and compassion.
This possibility brings a transformative power which we could never achieve by force.

In this session, we’ll explore how we can use mindfulness as a tool for growth and change, through acceptance and appreciation instead of force.
