One year ago, Creative Connect Group was founded by Nataliia Aleksieienko with a simple idea — to bring people together through art.
Over the past year, Friday art evenings in Athboy have grown into a vibrant creative space, welcoming up to 25 people each week. Through every season, participants have continued to paint, connect, exhibit their work and take part in local events.
The group brings together people from different cultures and backgrounds, supporting integration, confidence and wellbeing through creativity. As a Community Employment participant, Nataliia’s initiative is a wonderful example of how skills and leadership can positively impact local community life.
Recently, the group celebrated its first anniversary with live piano music, painting and shared moments of joy.
Here’s to another year of creativity, connection and community spirit. 🎨✨
