This installation at Ballygunner Train Station features 22 x 460W REC panels paired with an Alpha energy storage system, delivering powerful and efficient solar generation backed by trusted technology Solar Home has worked with since 2017.
The system includes four 9.3kW modular batteries, offering 37.2kWh of total storage, with the flexibility to expand further if needed. Designed for both indoor and outdoor use, the batteries provide reliable backup and maximise self consumption of solar energy throughout the day and night.
To enhance resilience, a solar and generator changeover system has also been installed, including a generator inlet and manual switch, ensuring uninterrupted power supply during extended outages.
